Giving AND Getting Joy

I visited our (now) 15 year old friend Caleb and his grandmother Sharon while he was getting one of his regular infusions at UNC Children's Specialty Clinic in Raleigh. Caleb has many medical challenges that have led him and Sharon to see several of our displays across the NC Triangle.

In this interview, he starts out shy but then lights up regarding some of his favorite topics (tinkering and electronics). Caleb is assembling a space ship that we will feature in the December, 2025 train shows (in Durham and in Raleigh).

What a joy and inspiration it has been to know these two courageous, optimistic people.
