History of the Little WORLDs

Hello from Tim Gabriel, the founder of Little WORLD Charity. In 2005 I started an annual, giant Halloween village in my garage for my neighborhood to enjoy. It was so popular that in 2009 I was invited to set it up for ten days at the Museum of Life & Science in Durham.

Triangle Resident since 1993, married with three children and two grandchildren. Retired IBMer. Founded Little WORLD Charity in 2015 out of his love of making miniature villages and of brightening lives of children.

We have a small, diverse, volunteer Board of Directors that reviews our progress and audits, monthly, every penny donated or spent.
